Adding this AirBNB to my list of well-loved A-Frame cabins - I am obsessed with this one! I spent 2-nights at this beautiful mid-century modern A-Frame, and had such a great time away from the hustle and bustle. From the stunning interiors to the many special touches, that's just the beginning of a long list of items that makes this an ideal cabin for a weekend getaway. It sleeps up to 5 guests, has a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, outdoor fire pit and hot tub, as well as being located near the popular Christmas Bavarian Town of Frankenmuth!
When you first arrive at the cabin, you'll be struck by the added black metal roof as well as the gorgeous lights they've installed to line the underside of it. Once inside, you'll find yourself in the living/dining area with beautiful tall ceilings, plenty of cozy blankets, an electric fire place, and mid-century modern furniture. There were several focal points that my eye was drawn to - especially the staircase, exposed beams, and globe light fixture hanging above the main space.
The living area shares a space with the dining room. The kitchen has plenty of space for cooking, even a fancy dishwasher, stove, and fridge - with ice! And if you love to bake, they even have a 5-quart Kitchen Aid mixer! I was also surprised with the number of spices and cooking supplies that most AirBNB's lack. Needless to say I did plenty of cooking while I was here. The bedrooms have luggage racks, robes, and hooks which were all nicely added touches. I also really appreciated the added board and batten throughout for that rustic modern feel.
There was artwork everywhere around the cabin, and my favorite was a framed sketch drawn by @its.me.im.deb on Instagram.
This cabin is one of my top favorite AirBNB's. I love how close it is to both Bay City, and Frankenmuth, love that it's an A-frame, and love how spacious it is!
